Late Rajendrasingh Alias Baba Vyas Arts and Commerce College at Kondhali is one of the prime institutions in the area offering the best education in the field of Arts and Social Sciences.The college is run by Sant Gulab Baba Education Society Kondhali, and affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur. It was established in 1994-95. The college offers B.A Degree in various subjects.It is today a leading center providing quality education to the tribal and rural students of Kondhali and surrounding villages. Baba Vyas college from its humble beginning in 1994 has come a long way.The college faced many problems in this long journey from 1994 till today.
The able leadership, strong determination and untiring efforts of Late Shri Govindsinghji Vyas and Shri Virendrasinghji Vyas helped us overcome all these barriers and achieve the present status of the college. The college has highly qualified and trained staff with rich academic and research experience that forms the strong backbone for this educational institute. Majority of the teaching staff is associated with academic, research and extension activities at the College, University and National level. The college is committed to uplift the poor and rural students considering constraints shown by rural students. The College authorities take care and make every possible effort for the upliftment of academic standard of rural students.
We started with a strength of 101 students and today total students enrolled are 337. What makes our college special is that it is situated in a lush green environment. It has sufficient class rooms, staff room, library and reading room. College is proud of its vibrant NSS Unit. The College is also engaged in grooming the students in games and sports. The College ensures an excellent academic record to prove the competitive proficiency of student in the world of 21st century. The college organizes proper and moderate extra-curricular activities for the all-round development of the students. The college also has a computerized office.
Anti Ragging Policy
- Ragging is an offence in any form and is totally prohibited in and outside the campus of our College kondhali.
- This rule applies to the campus and outside the institute's premises too. We want to ensure and are committed to create a "ragging free" college,thus ensuring a serene atmosphere conducive to learning and growth.
- We are committed to follow all regulations and guidelines formulated by the University Grants Commission and RTMNU Nagpur University with regard to a "ragging free atmosphere" for the young students to develop as good citizens.
Instructions to the First Year Students:The I year students are required to be a aware of the anti–ragging measures and are instructed to report any difficulty encountered to the college authorities
